Hi there
Now, don't get me wrong, i dont want to impose ANYTHING on Ralph Bakshi. I'm glad he's enjoying his life painting and is art is still great!
But IF he might still be interested in doing his animated feature, here's an idea:
As a big Adventure Game Fan, i pledged for numerous projects on Kickstarter. Most of them had budgets around 500'000 Dollars and made that goal easily even exceeding it. As he said in the famous Comic-Con Video, he would need that amount to finish the Film.
Phil Tippett has ran a very successful Kickstarter Campaign to finish his Stop Motion Short "Mad God" http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/madgod/phil-tippetts-mad-god?ref=live
Of course there's no guarantee for anything, but i'm sure a lot of fans, industry professionals and even people new to Ralph would pledge, if we could get the word out for something like this.
Just a thought. I don't know how many people still read these forums.
Cheers! |

WE DID IT BAKSHI LAND!!!
THANKS TO ALL WHO HELPED FUND LAST DAYS OF CONEY ISLAND!
As excited I as I am for LDoCI I am really interested in what Ralph has been saying in interviews about this being the stepstone to WIZARDS 2 AND... *drumroll* WIZARDS 3!!!
We'll see where this leads first, but damn that would make my lifetime.
Now they have set up a stretch goal in order to add to the length of the first short. They need an additional 9K before tomorrow as I type this.
If anyone can still donate, or add to their donation, this is the final stretch.

Absolutely exciting that this film is finally happening Bro Rab! Wish more members would return to celebrate. I'm stoked & happy with just 1 more film within Ralph's lifetime: Last Days of Coney Island. But color me ecstatic if Wizards 2 gets made! That would be dream come true. _________________

So happy about this. But it's Wizards 2 and 3 that has me REALLY excited. I really hope both of those happen. _________________ Petey Pate: That's a lie! I am NOT power-hungry!
