Hi Ralph, I see that voice artist, Charlie Adler, has worked with you on a few of your films/TV programs, including "Cool World" and "Christmas in Tattertown". How did you like him as voice talent for Sidney Spider and Nails? I've read that Charlie's from Brooklyn, do you guys have anything in common?

I agree.

Anyway, Charlie Adler is my personal favorite voice actor. He's done so many favorite characters of mine, like Buster Bunny, Cow and Chicken, I. R. Baboon, the Red Guy, Ed and Bev Bighead, George and Grandpa Wirum Willy Wolfe, about half the incidental voices in Rocko's Modern Life, Snively, Prof. Monkey-For-A-Head, Ickis, Candy and more.

Charlie's a great voice talent and I plan to use him in my new film, Last Days of Coney Island. We are five sequence into the film and will be showing it to various studios in a few weeks. For some reason I've never done a film I've been as happy with as Last Days of Coney. The computer has allowed me for the first time to rework animation quite easily. It makes a big difference.

This is technology at it's best...I'm talking about cartoon hand drawn animation not rendering. Also animators staying at home and emailing scenes with dialogue makes life easy for them and easy for me. More brilliant technology. There are some other tricks I've taught the computer which I'm keepin' a secret til the film comes out.
Then the secret will be on the screen.

I'm having a ball.
It's R rated, animated and if I stay alive I'll get to see it.

This was about Charlie Adler, right?
I love the guy.
Have him email me if he's ready to do a voice.
Find him.

That is some great info. Can't wait to hear his dialogue in Last Days...

I'm so glad to hear you've discovered some new technique using the computer. I can't wait to see how it translates to film.
